McDuffie Award nomination for client Nilah Magruder!
New client Nilah Magruder is a finalist for the inaugural Dwayne McDuffie Award for Diversity. The winner will be announced February 28, 2015, at the Long Beach Comic Expo. She’s up against some big names in the comic industry, including the comics Ms. Marvel, Shaft, and The Shadow Hero. Go read her fantastic webcomic, M.F.K., now so you can say you read it before it was cool. Instant street cred (at comic conventions, obv).
Note: I represent her picture books and YA novels, while Jean Sagendorph handles her comics/graphic novels.
